LUNCH FORUM MOVING TO NEW LOCATION
The newly re-launched Democratic Lunch Forum is a hit! In January, close to 100 people joined us to hear Ivan Canada speak about the Marriage Discrimination Amendment and it looks like our next event will be just as popular. Once again, due to huge response, we are moving the Lunch Forum to a larger venue.

The next Lunch Forum will be held WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 12:30 p.m. at Congregational United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall, 400 W. Radiance Drive, Greensboro.

The topic will be Redistricting, Voter I.D. and other issues affecting the 2012 Election. It will be presented by George Gilbert, Director of Elections for the Guilford County Board of Elections.

Cost of the lunch is $8 (payable by cash or check at the door).
***Because lunches have to be ordered, RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.***

Please RSVP by FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10, by calling HQ at 275-0601. Please indicate if a vegetarian meal is needed and include a phone number where you can be reached.

TIME TO ORGANIZE YOUR PRECINCT
The Road to Victory Begins in Your Neighborhood!

On March 6, PRECINCT ORGANIZATON MEETINGS for the Democratic Party will be held all across North Carolina.

Organizing your precinct, or being an active member of an organized precinct, is THE BEST WAY to get involved with the Party and TO HELP ELECT DEMOCRATS for office at every level of government.

And, for anyone INTERESTED IN SERVING AS A DELEGATE OR VOLUNTEER at the DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION in September, organizing your precinct is a strong first step on the road to Charlotte. (See April 27 & June 1 entries below for information on filing to run for a delegate position.)

Orientation/strategy meetings for precinct chairs and organizers will be held February 9. If you would like to organize your precinct, or attend an organization meeting for your precinct, please respond to this e-mail or call Guilford County Democratic Party Headquarters at 275-0601.
