Yvonne Johnson, the Greensboro City Council will consider passing a resolution in favor of Medicare for All. Consideration takes place on at the Greensboro City Council meeting Monday, October 3, 5:30 p.m. at the Melvin Municipal Office Building. (Please note the City Council Meeting has been moved to Monday in observance of Yom Kippur). Supporters will gather outside the Municipal Building at 4:45 p.m.\nThe Resolution calls upon the City to endorse Medicare for All legislation and to urge our Congressional Representative and U.S. Senators to pass such legislation. Local governments are in a good position to advocate to federal representatives regarding the needs of their cities and residents.
