DESCRIPTION:Our High Point Vice Chair, Mitzi Turner, is collecting food and clothing through the month of December to give to those in need. Items that are most needed include: blankets, socks, gloves, coats, toboggans, easy-to-open canned goods, peanut butter and nutritional bars. Sweaters, shoes, and other items of clothing in good shape also are appreciated.\nOn December 10 at 11 a.m., Mitzi and other volunteers will be at Superior Foods, 220 North Centennial St., High Point, (weather permitting) with tables set up to give away winter clothing and food for those in need.
