Dear Democratic Friends,
To quote Jimmy Dugan in A League of Their Own, “We’re going to win! WE’RE going to win!”
This remains absolutely true for Democrats across the board in 2024. We have strong candidates,robust policy, stalwart volunteers, and a compelling message. We are well organized and fired up.
But most importantly, Democrats across this country are linking arms to form a bulwark against Republicans who want to destroy American Democracy, strip Americans of our freedom, and create an America the Founders wouldn’t recognize.
This year’s Unity Dinner promises to not only celebrate the strength of our Party, but also to ignite our passion, renew our determination, and focus our energy on winning every single race in November. To this end, we are working with NC Senator Natalie Murdock to bring in a high-level Biden/Harris surrogate to deliver the keynote address.
We hope you’ll join us on September 21, 2024. Come join us in fellowship and soak up Democratic energy while helping fund this year’s election effort. The road to the presidency runs through North Carolina this year, and Guilford County Democratic voters remain critical in winning state-wide and federal races. “We’re going to win! WE’RE going to win!” And we need you to do it.
