***BOOK CLUB UPDATE!***
Tom Haifley and Jane Kraemer are the new co-chairs for the GCDP Book Club.
From Jane: “This was a very recent decision, so please allow us some time to organize.
We will be holding meetings at least every two months. We will provide a tentative meeting schedule within the next two weeks. Meetings will be held in Greensboro, High Point, and possibly other locations in Guilford County.
We will be looking for volunteers to host the individual meetings. Given that 2026 is a make or
break election year, through October we would like to focus on books that will help us win elections.”

at THaif@aol.com . Please put “Book Club Suggestion” in the Subject Line. Please include the book title,
author, year published, fiction or nonfiction, number of pages, and a very brief summary of the book, one
to three sentences. This will help members in choosing the books to cover.
