***FOOD DRIVE TO HELP OUR FRIENDS IN NEED***
As GCDP Chair Kathy Kirkpatrick said at this year’s Unity Dinner, “If you want to feel hopeful, do
something helpful!” With that in mind, we are holding a food drive to help those affected by SNAP
cuts—and maybe give us all a little hope. This hopeful/helpful event, “Oh, SNAP! Shut Down Hunger!”
will be Friday, November 14 from 5:30-7 p.m. at GCDP HQ, 2300 W. Meadowview Road, Ste. 110
(Wrightsville Building), Greensboro.
Bring non-perishable food and join us for music, cake and maybe even some dancing! If you can't join us,
we accept drop-offs at HQ 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Thursday. We'll also be open 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday,
November 14. Donations will be divided between High Point and Greensboro.
