***REMEMBERING BILL HELMS***
We were saddened to learn of the passing of William (Bill) Helms, the beloved husband of Susan
Andreatta, a long-time precinct chair and volunteer for the GCDP. In addition to being a Scoutmaster, Bill
built and remodeled many houses in High Point, including the house in which he raised his children and
in which his son is now raising his own children. When Bill and Susan met, he was looking for an
"adventure companion" and so was Susan. They shared eighteen years of love and adventures. For that
she is grateful. Susan has been a good leader for her precinct and in scheduling greeters. Bill supported
her efforts and held up the best ideals. GCDP has appreciated his help. He will be missed. A memorial
service will be scheduled for later this year.
