The Guilford County Democratic Party is heartbroken by the passing of Maggie Jeffus-Goltare.
Maggie was not only an exceptional teacher who shaped countless lives in Greensboro, but she
was also a tireless advocate for her community as a dedicated Democratic State Representative
who served 10 terms in the N.C. General Assembly. Her kindness, passion, and commitment to
public service were an inspiration to us all. We extend our deepest sympathies to her family and
friends. She will be greatly missed.
