***REMINDER! NOMINATIONS FOR DEMOCRAT and YOUNG DEMOCRAT OF THE
YEAR DUE OCTOBER 3!***
At the Guilford County Democratic Party (GCDP) Unity Dinner on Saturday, October 25, 2025, two
(2) deserving persons will be honored as Democrat of the Year, and Young Democrat of the Year.
The Democrat of the Year should be someone who:
Is over the age of 35 years old.
Is actively involved in GCDP work for a minimum of 10-years prior to nomination.
Enthusiastically participates and leads in GCDP activities.
Encourages others to become actively involved in the local Democratic
Has community involvement in keeping with Democratic Party principles.
The Young Democrat of the Year should be someone who:
Is at least 16-years old, but under 35 years old.
Is actively involved in GCDP work for a minimum of 3-years prior to nomination.
Enthusiastically participates and leads in GCDP activities.
Encourages others to become actively involved in the local Democratic process.
Has community involvement in keeping with Democratic Party principles.
Nominations (Nomination Form and Letters of Support (minimum of two (2)) are due by 5 p.m. Friday,
