***UPDATE FROM SERVICE TO OTHERS COMMITTEE***
Thank you to all who donated socks for the Winter Warmth Giveaway in High Point. Even after
packing 300 bags, there was a lot left over.  With what we had left we are able to make another
trip out to the community, hopefully in Greensboro.
The Service to Others Committee will have a group meeting Sunday, December 8, 3 p.m. at
GCDP HQ, 2300 W. Meadowview Road, Ste. 110, Greensboro (Wrightsville Building). All are
welcome to attend. Bring a light snack if you wish, beverages will be provided.
We will discuss building community, partnering with different groups, our message and how we
re-introduce ourselves to the community. Your input is welcomed and encouraged.
Also, we need a lead person or persons for the Greensboro area. Someone who has community
connections or willing to build  community connections. We are looking for places where we can
set up tables for our food and clothing giveaways, be good citizens and get our message out
there. Be thinking. 
