If you are interested in being a Precinct Judge for the Guilford County Board of Elections, please
reply to this email with your full name (as it appears on your voter registration), address and best
phone number at which to reach you. Also indicate if you are willing to work in a precinct other
than your own. Please reply by Thursday, August 7.
Precinct Judges work in polling places on Election Day (primary, special and general elections,
and possibly Early Voting) for the Board of Elections. It is a paid position and training is
required. Precinct judges serve a two-year term (from August to August of odd-numbered years).
Judges must commit to work primary, special and general elections from 6 a.m. until all required
election supplies are returned to the elections office. Training includes instruction meetings
during the week prior to elections and special training when offered.
In order to have your name submitted to the Board of Elections by the Guilford County
Democratic Party, you must be a registered voter in Guilford County.
